★★★★★Great service and delicious food. We had oysters on the half shell. They were huge and so fresh! They all barely fit on the platter. The Oyster Rockefeller were tasty as well. For entrees we had the broiled scallops, stuffed snapper and seafood gumbo. Everything was seasoned and cooked just right. The fish was moist and tender. Gumbo was thick and dark, just how I like my seafood gumbo. Our server Zach was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and assisted us with any questions we had. ★★★★★Elegant! A Premiere Seafood Establishment that has been a staple of Lake Charles for a long time. Fantastic Staff and Service. Great Drinks and Bar atmosphere. Dress code is not mandatory but encouraged. Their fried soft-shell crab dish is one of the best, most perfectly fried crab dishes you will ever eat. And the stuffed shrimp plate has some of the best stuffed shrimp in the State of Louisiana. Perfect! Now, if you bringing the family and that means kids are coming too. Don’t worry, this place isn’t so high up that there isn’t something for them. My very first experience here, I was about 6-8 years old and I still remember the hush puppies my mom ordered me. Every time I go back, even as an adult, I still remember that first experience and the hush puppies. This is the type of place that you can go and build memories at, and have amazing food on top of that. One of the first meals I even bought my mom was her birthday lunch here, I saved up my allowance for months so I could take her. Just a truly amazing place. Live to Eat!- Kyle Johnston

I got steak and shrimp, she got the fish special, we had fish and alligator bites as appetizer. We shared with our child and he loved it too. ★★★★★I can’t think of much of anything that’s better than Pat’s Who Dat Crayfish Ettoufe with hush puppies.This was our first visit to this location. Back in the 1980s, before we moved away, we used to eat in at the old place. The decor has been upgraded but the food is just as down-home and heavenly as I remember.If you love Cajun food and you’re within 50 miles of Lake Charles you gotta go to Pat’s.- Sylvia Yowe

★★★★★Traveling can be serendipitous, full of delightful surprises. Louisiana is full of friendly and engaging service staff and Sarah at Pat’s in Lake Charles was among the best. We asked about the ‘etouffee’, a buttery Cajun specialty – she provided samples and we ordered the Red Snapper with Shrimp etouffee accordingly. It was spectacular.- Mamie Boyd
